ROSGONKI agree pit lane walk at 2021 Russian Grand Prix for fans

ANO “ROSGONKI” announces that there will be a live pit lane walk at the Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix. It will be possible to get into the parc fermé and see the race cars of the world’s best teams up close on Thursday, 23 September.

All holders of tickets for the Russian Formula 1 round (except for the general admission ones) will be sent an email offering to take part in the event to the address specified when purchasing the tickets on the website Important: when you receive the email, you need to follow the link, register and receive a separate ticket to the pit lane walk.

Please note that due to the coronavirus restrictions in place, only the first 3,000 fans to register will be able to attend the pit lane walk. To receive a special bracelet that gives the right to access the restricted area at Sochi Autodrom, you will need to show the email confirming your registration for the pit lane walk (which will be sent to the specified email after the registration) on your phone or in printed form.

There will be broadcast arranged in the Central Square of the Olympic Park for those fans who cannot take part in the walk.
Famous Russian DJ Alexander Anatolich will walk the spectators through what is happening in the pit lane live.
Access to the pit lane will be arranged in groups. The distribution of the bracelets will start on 23 September at 9:00. Once agreed, the pit lane entry time will be communicated in a newsletter sent to the registered participants. When visiting the team garages, we ask you to comply with the necessary epidemiological requirements and restrictions - wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.

The limited format with a visit to the pit lane became possible thanks to negotiations between the FORMULA 1 VTB RUSSIA GRAND PRIX 2021 promoter and Formula One Management. Compliance with all safety standards will allow to expect that next year all activities will be held in the manner that all motorsport fans are used to.

“At the Monza round, the pit lane walk was available only to the Paddock Club ticket holders, we saw how it looked live, the ROSGONKI team promptly prepared a logistics plan and regulations for such an activity, adapted to our conditions.
We discussed our version with the FOM top management, and that was what we agreed. I really hope that our fans will understand that at the moment this format has some restrictions, but this is already a big step towards returning to the normal Grand Prix Thursday format,” commented ROSGONKI CEO Alexey TITOV.

Let us remind you that the 2021 Russian Grand Prix will be held at Sochi Autodrom from 23 to 26 September. Races of all formula classes - from Formula 3 to Formula 1 - will be held as part of a single round for the first time in 2021. Also, a large entertainment programme is planned for the audience. The guests will enjoy the Festival of Thrill and Engines featuring the best extreme athletes, the F1 Fan Zone and, of course, an evening concert programme featuring Zveri, Bi-2 with a symphony orchestra, Ivan Dorn, as well as DJs GROOVE and Alexander Anatolich.
